The Research Support Program is tailored specifically for postgraduate students, faculty, and researchers looking to advance their scholarly work. This program offers advanced assistance with complex literature searches, comprehensive data management planning, and guidance on navigating the publishing process and understanding research impact.

We also provide specialized facilities, including quiet study spaces and collaborative work areas, to facilitate collaborative scholarship and access to our extensive catalog of materials.

Target Audience: Postgraduate students (Master's/PhD), academic faculty, and independent researchers.

This program is highly specialized, focusing on the sophisticated needs of advanced scholars navigating complex research cycles, data management, and the publishing ecosystem.

Core Activities & Services:

  • Advanced & Systematic Literature Reviews: Deep-dive sessions on conducting exhaustive searches across multidisciplinary databases, utilizing advanced search syntaxes, and setting up automated search alerts for new literature.
  • Data Analysis/Management: Workshops on how to create Data Management Plans (DMPs), organize large datasets, comply with funding agency requirements, and safely store/archive research data.
  • Publishing & Journal Selection: Seminars to help researchers evaluate journal metrics (Impact Factors, h-index), identify reputable open-access publishers, and avoid predatory journals.
  • Reference Management System: Masterclasses in managing massive reference libraries, sharing groups for co-authored papers, and troubleshooting complex citation styles for theses or journal submissions like (EndNote, Mendeley, Zotera).
  • Academic Visibility & Impact Tracking: Individual consultations or workshops on setting up and optimizing researcher profiles (such as ORCID, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate) to track citations and increase the global reach of their work.
